World Missions Outreach is honored to be celebrating our 16th year in Nicaragua. We are breaking strides to end the generational cycle of poverty through education and nutrition. Through our three schools and 70 feeding program across Nicaragua, we provide 5.4 million meals a year and 15,000 meals to children every day.
We measure our success by the success of our students that have gone through our program! We provide not just a hand out, but a hand up - physically, mentally & spiritually.
We are giving students a chance at a different future. This isn't just a one-time hand out that you will never know its effect. This is a way that we can truly measure the success of combating childhood hunger and end the generational cycle of poverty. This is how you change the future.
We have students who never imagined graduating high school that have went onto college and now have prestigious careers. We have students who are now doctors, lawyers, translators and even teach at our schools.
We praise God for all the good things that He has allowed us to be a part of in Nicaragua working for the Kingdom of God. World Missions Outreach could not continue our mission without you.
Our schools return to class on February 6th. In preparation for 2017, feeding programs and school food supplies, we have a 40 foot container being shipped to Nicaragua with 35 vitamin & rice meal pallets and 42,000 pounds of food; valued at $60,000 of donated food.
This container has a huge bulk of our yearly food supplies. The containers shipment has been held up and delayed, causing our current stock of food for our school & programs to be completely depleted. This has put us in an emergency situation to get a container of food shipment expedited. We must raise $6,000 dollars more to be able get the shipment in before the next round of food delivery or our programs and students will go without.
As you may know, the meals that are served at our programs are the only meals that many of these children receive. We cannot let our students or children go without. It is imperative that we get the food shipment out before the start of the school year, February 6th, which is quickly approaching.
We are asking our friends, partners, sponsors and family to help raise the $6,000 dollars needed to get the food in time. Every dollar counts and will help make a difference.
This food goes to the children and young adults who are going to step up and make a difference in their communities. This food is what is sustaining the now generation to change the future for other generations. This food provides the opportunity for ambitious young people to beat all the odds that are stacked against them! This food provides a Future.
